My Approach

Branding and Social

Brand perception is what the user experiences first and last. The message that branding sends needs to be the same on all platforms. Confusion arises from inconsistencies, which is the last thing you want your user/customer to experience.

Over the years I have been involved in developing many forward thinking concepts that dealt with social media issues such as captioning, viewer retention, and the brand experience.

During my tenure at Oracle, an online presence was paramount. The original thrust for video was for external channels and the corporate website, but it soon became apparent that social media was another big driver of product recognition and understanding. With this in mind we developed a strategy that enabled us to create successful social content.

Working with YouTube we developed techniques to enhance the user experience of our social content. This made video that was more engaging and straightforward - whether in horizontal, vertical, or square formats.
At Tin Can   videos are created that ensure clients achieve their goals, by helping them to focus on the purpose of the engagement.
Our involvement can be all encompassing: pulling together a team to script, shoot, and edit a large scale production, or on a smaller scale, editing a basic talking head or creating motion graphics to make an average production extraordinary.
